Alyssa Polaris
Mexican-Finnish fashion designer.
Always looking for the simple, but trying to pervert the archetypes.
I was born in a far away land, where I studied sciences and dedicated most of my time to pursue the objective, taking breaks to write poetry, make dresses out of curtains, and plot space expeditions. Navigation was never a primary interest, and yet, I've been following the North Star all my life, which has brought me home, where my life's work became tangible.

(Polaris, commonly known as the North Star or Pole Star, is the brightest star in the constellation of Ursa Minor. It lies nearly in a direct line with the Earth's rotational axis above the North Pole making it the current northern pole star.
Polaris stands almost motionless in the sky, and all the stars of the northern sky appear to rotate around it, therefore, it makes an excellent fixed point from which to draw measurements for celestial navigation and for astrometry.)
My work draws on a romantic rendition of my physics background. A constant chase for hard evidence of the imaginary.
I operate independently, and strive to keep my work a personal experience that ebbs and flows seasonless, hoping that the relationship between me and the world around me manifests with genuine emotion.
